How does the continuous ambient light monitoring in Spyder3Elite work, and why should I use it?

| Spyder3Elite will keep an ongoing check on your studio's light levels, and change to a red slashed warning icon in the menubar or tooltray if your ambient light level shifts out of your selected zone. You can then choose to readjust your ambient light until it returns to the desired range, or if that is not possible, you can launch Spyder3Elite and recalibrate to your new conditions. This offers a continuous check on the consistancy of your viewing environment, without undue changes to your calibration. | |
