Mac OS X: 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (SnowLeopard)
Rosetta
Installation on Mac OS X 10.6 (SnowLeopard) requires Rosetta to be installed. The installed application (Spyder2) is Universal Binary and runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel machines. However the installer itself is only PowerPC, therefore Rosetta is required to run it. Rosetta is an optional install on 10.6 (SnowLeopard). This is not an issue for 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard) systems.
