I am unable to delete my trash under OS X. I am getting a message stating that the file is locked.

| Open the trash and choose the item or items you wish to delete. In the menu bar choose File, then Get Info and under General tab remove the checkmark next to Locked. Selecting multiple items will allow you to unlock all of them at once. | |
