What do I do if I have a color cast on my LCD screen after calibrating with my Spyder?

"First check that all screensaver and energysaver functions are turned off, so that the calibration process is not interupted by screensavers or dimming. Under OS X, set the energy saver preference pane to to ""Never"". Now make a test calibration without any settings adjustments. To so this, recalibrate with your Spyder and make sure that all monitor and color control checkboxes are unchecked. Please do not adjust any of your monitor's settings after resetting them to the monitor's defaults.

If you have recalibrated without any checkboxes checked and are still getting a cast, please recalibrate to Gamma 2.2/Native whitepoint. You can change your settings by clicking the Change button or select the Change these settings radio button in the Current Settings screen. Click continue in the Select Display screen. Then, click on the Target drop-down and select 2.2-Native and continue.

If you still have a color cast after these tests, please contact Datacolor Customer Support via email at customerservice@colorvision.com.
