What is a license file?

| Before the dongle was introduced, licensing of ColorFacts was done with license files (*.lic). License files were issued only for specific meters of specific users (using the serial number of their meter/s) and had to be installed on each computer separately, if the user wanted to use ColorFacts on more than one computer. | |
