What should I do if I receive the following error: "Could not complete the Export Command because of program error"

The error message: "Could not complete the Export Command because of program error" occurs when there is a problem loading the export plugin correctly. The second message: "Unexpected program error: Communication to the Export Plugin seem to have failed. If free memory is tight quiet some programs and try again". This tends to occur combined with the first message primarily in cases where there are two versions of the plugins installed at the same time. This still looks like an installation problem. If you have Photoshop installed on the "D" drive: 1) Open the Photoshop 6.0 folder: Look for the Plug-ins folder. 2) Open the Plug-ins folder: Look for the PANTONE COLORVISION Plugins folder (It should be visible inside the Plug-ins folder and not anywhere else) 3) Open the PANTONE COLORVISION Plugins folder It should contain these four items only. a. ProfilerPLUS-RGB b. ProfilerPLUS-RGB Export c. ProfilerPLUS-CMYK d. ProfilerPLUS-CMYK Export 4) Next, check to see that the additional files needed by ProfilerPLUS are correctly installed. These are contained in a folder named Horses. This folder must be installed into the following location or a failure could occur. C:/Program Files/Horses 5) Next, you should use "Find files and folders" to verify that there are no duplicate copies of the ProfilerPlugins installed. Search on the keyword "ProfilerPLUS-RGB" (this unique) a) You will find the export plugins in the PANTONE COLORVISION Plugins folder. b) If there are any other copies of the plugins, delete them 6) Finally, if you have upgraded from an earlier version of Profiler RGB Use "Find files and folders" ro search for a folder named "MatchLock" and delete it. Use "Find files and folders" ro search for files named "Profiler II" and "Profiler II export", delete them also. 7) The above steps insure that the ProfilerPLUS components are properly installed and there are no duplicate versions. ProfilerPLUS should work correctly. If it still gives an error, there is a good chance that the problem is being caused by something else, perhaps a corrupt or missing file. Do the following: 1) Un-Install ProfilerPLUS 2) Un-Install Photoshop 3) Re-Install Photoshop 4) Re-Install ProfilerPLUS.
