I am getting error message(s) "SaveProfileUsingICM.CompareFiles failed" and/or "SaveProfileUsingICM.Delete File failed". Why is this happening?

I am sure my User Account (PC or Mac) has got full admin rights to properly access my computer and the Spyder software.
However, after the calibration took place, the created Spyder icc display profile still can't be saved.

I am getting error message(s) "SaveProfileUsingICM.CompareFiles failed" and/or "SaveProfileUsingICM.Delete File failed".
Why is this happening?


If you are sure that your user got all the full admin rights to properly access your computer and you are still getting that
error after the display calibration took place, most probably another application/program is locking the profile data file.

Therefore, please close all running applications/programs (especially webbrowsers and image editing software)
and try to calibrate the display again.
