Spyder3 comes with a removable suction cup. Should I use this cup when calibrating my LCD and Laptop displays?

No, you shouldn't. This suction cup has been added to the package to calibrate a CRT type monitor. If you use this for an LCD, you could even damage your LCD-Display's panel. But how can you attach your Spyder on a LCD-Display? You can easily do this using the counterweight and hanging it over your monitor. Also, flip your monitor a little bit backwards, like this your sensor will lay flat on the screen. | |
