The current Datacolor Spyder products SpyderX Pro and SpyderX Elite software version 5.8,
Spyder5EXPRESS, Spyder5PRO and Spyder5ELITE software version 5.8,
Spyder Checkr software version 1.5 are compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur.

These software versions come in Universal code that will run natively on Apple Silicon M1 systems and also natively on Intel based Mac systems.

The Spyder Print software version 5.6 is also compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur.

The Spyder Print software works on Intel-based Macs and on systems running the new Apple Silicon M1 chip. On an Apple M1-based system, the Datacolor Spyder Print software will run seamlessly under the Rosetta2.

Additional information for Datacolor ColorReader, ColorReader Pro or ColorReader EZ users that are running an Apple Silicon M1 system:

You can run natively the ColorReader mobile app to use your ColorReader from your Apple M1 computer system by installing the ColorReader app as follows:

• Open the Mac App Store
• Click on the Search bar (top left corner)
• Search for "ColorReader"
• Results will show Mac apps by default
• Click on "iPhone and iPad apps" to see results in that category and to install the ColorReader app
• Launch the ColorReader app and use it on your mobile phone
