Why does Spyder3TV set my Brightness too high or too dark?

When Spyder3TV adjusts Brightness, it is important to eliminate as much ambient light as possible. If you can’t eliminate all the ambient light in your room, you can drape a dark cloth over the TV and meter during the readings. Also, since Brightness is the most sensitive setting to adjust it is also recommended to leave the Black pattern up for 5 minutes to ensure there is no image retention. | |
